Text Label

Use Text Labels to add non-functional annotations, signal names, section headings, and explanatory notes directly to a Logic Lab workspace.

Overview

Text Labels add signal names, section headings, and explanatory notes to a Logic Lab workspace. They are annotations rather than circuit elements.

Interface and Editing

Use concise labels to name buses, document active levels, identify functional regions, or record an assumption that is important when reading the circuit.

Simulation Boundary

Text Labels do not drive or load nets, change component state, execute markup, or otherwise participate in simulation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a text label for?

Text Labels have no pins and do not participate in simulation. They document a circuit without driving signals, loading nets, or altering component state.

How do I edit text labels?

Double-click a Text Label, or focus it and press Enter, to edit its content. The label resizes to its text; when selected, its format bar controls font size, font family, and bold weight. Drag the component to reposition it.
