We strongly encourage you to evaluate the free tier before purchasing a paid tier, as this is your opportunity to determine whether DigiSim meets your needs.
By making a purchase at DigiSim.io, you agree to the terms set forth below along with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. General Refund Policy for One-Time Purchases
All purchases on DigiSim.io (SimCast Sets, Complete Bundles, and other digital content) are one-time payments that grant immediate access to digital educational content. Because the purchased content is delivered instantly upon payment, purchases are generally non-refundable.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to digital content and that this constitutes delivery of the purchased product.
2. EU & UK Right of Withdrawal (Waiver)
If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you typically have a right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days of purchase.
However, by purchasing digital content from DigiSim.io and clicking the "Pay" or "Purchase" button, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract (immediate access to the digital content). In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK) and Directive 2011/83/EU, you acknowledge and agree that you lose your right of withdrawal (the 14-day cooling-off period) once the digital content is made available to you.
3. Exceptions — When Refunds May Be Granted
While our general policy is non-refundable, we will consider refund requests under the following specific circumstances:
Duplicate Payment:
If you were accidentally charged twice for the same product due to a payment gateway error, we will immediately refund the duplicate charge in full.
Unresolvable Technical Defects:
If a major technical defect on our end prevents you from accessing the purchased content or using its core features as described, and our Support Team is unable to resolve the issue within 5 business days of your report, a full refund will be issued.
Refunds are not granted for:
- Change of mind after accessing the purchased content.
- Dissatisfaction with the educational content, difficulty level, pedagogical style, or teaching approach.
- Claims that a SimCast lesson, component, or template did not match subjective learning preferences or expectations.
- Claims that a specific item is too brief, too long, too basic, too advanced, or stylistically different from third-party materials.
- Incompatibility with hardware or browsers that do not meet the minimum requirements stated on our website.
- Failure to use the purchased content after purchase.
- Inability to access the Service due to issues on the user's end (internet connectivity, device problems, firewall settings).
- Minor bugs or defects that are addressed through normal product improvement updates.
- Catalog adjustments — including the addition, replacement, or withdrawal of individual SimCast lessons, components, or templates from the tier you purchased.
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
Currency and Exchange Rates:
All refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction (e.g., GBP or USD). DigiSim is not responsible for any differences in the final amount received due to currency exchange rate fluctuations or fees imposed by your bank or payment provider.
