Motion time
Single material PLA / 1.75 mm
Follow a command all the way to a physical movement. Select a subsystem to look inside.
Moving the timeline or the layer rebuilds the machine and the material on the bed at that point of the job. It pauses a running print; it never runs the machine backwards.

Physical rate
Volume-conserving: the winding radius follows the filament left on the reel. At accelerated speeds the reel turns faster, but the rate shown stays in physical rpm. Retraction slack is not counted twice.

Nominal fan speeds and rotor inertia are teaching-model settings. Fans, and their sound, run in real time whatever the simulation speed, and keep running while a print is paused.
One coordinate system The bed moves. The object stays registered. The nozzle sits in a fixed Y plane. To print at Y = 160 mm the bed moves to −50 mm, and every deposited bead moves with it.

Restart print Reset machine
Native step advances a paused print by a quarter second of machine time through the same interlocks. Restart begins a new run on a clear bed; Reset returns to a cold preview. Neither clears the print records.

01 From surface to slices A triangle mesh is intersected by horizontal planes. Closed contours describe each layer, including holes.
02 Turn slices into a route Inset perimeters form walls. Alternating scanlines form infill; top and bottom skin use closely spaced lines.
03 Coordinate three axes The X carriage and Y bed use independent toothed belts. Two 8 mm-lead screws lift the entire X gantry.
04 Meter, melt, deposit Hobbed rollers meter filament into a heat break and heated block. The nozzle deposits a flattened bead onto the previous layer.
05 Check what holds it up A watertight mesh is not automatically printable. Overhangs may require support, reorientation, or a different design.
Volume is conserved ΔE = L × w × h / (π d² / 4)L is path length, w bead width, h layer height and d the 1.75 mm filament diameter. The bead is approximated as a rectangle.

Records JSON Clear print records
Records list every print run with its job, how it ended and how far it got. Reset and restart keep them; only clearing removes them. Exported G-code carries the job identity and is not qualified for a physical printer.
